Many players who got to know the basics about Sorare through playing Rivals would like to take the next step. At this point, you need one of Sorare's Pro cards which you can either buy or – with a bit of patience and luck – win by playing Rivals.

With that card, you can make the first step into the Sorare Pro world. You'll set up your first team to enter your first competition. It's called Warm-Up – and here's everything you need to know before playing.

What are Warm-Up competitions?

New managers can enter 8 different competitions. Choose between the Global Warm-Up and those which are limited to a standard Sorare competition (Premier League, LALIGA, Bundesliga, Champion, Challenger, Contender, U23). You can also play in two or more competitions – and even in all of them, if you have enough cards already.

How does it work? The Warm-Up competitions are open to everybody. You will use four common cards which you can freely choose from all the players in the respective competition. In addition, you'll have to use one Limited card. The latter gets a 20% bonus on the overall points scored during the game week.

Sounds fun? Good. But it gets even better.

Available prizes

The prize pools are supposed to help new managers on Sorare discover the game. They can also progress a bit faster if they finish close to the top of the leaderboard.

You shouldn't expect to win another card straight away. Some cards a handed out as prizes, but only for those managers who finish on the podium. However, you have the chance to win at least 1 Essence for finishing in the top 10% in the global competition or in the top 5% in the competition-specific Warm-Ups.

Nobody said it would be easy, but you'll probably feel the thrill of a competition – and of trying to make better choices than the vast majority of other managers.
